Financial Benefits

The Frontier Fellowship provides substantial funding for four years, including relocation expenses, and funding to attend conferences and for a part-time technician in years 3 and 4. Each fellowship represents an approximately $400,000 commitment over 4 years. Additional benefits include health and dental insurance, retirement programs, and paid holiday, vacation and sick leave.

Mentorship Benefits

The philosophy of the Frontier Fellows program is to prepare people to become successful independent scientists. Fellows will be mentored by their principal investigator(s) and by a committee of CRI faculty in research skills, formulation of scientific questions, grant writing, oral presentation skills, and manuscript preparation.
