Application Requirements

Reference Letters

Three reference letters are required. One of these references must be from the candidate’s PhD thesis advisor. Referees should submit letters directly to the fellowship program at applications@frontierfellows.org.

Research Summary

A one paragraph summary of prior research is required.

Host Laboratory

Identify up to three laboratories within CRI that you would consider joining for your training. Note that the Frontier Fellowship also funds collaborative projects between CRI laboratories.

Proposed Research Projects

Identify projects, or areas of research within CRI, in which you are interested.

Selection Process

A selection committee will review the applications. Competitive applicants will be invited for an in-person interview.

During the interview process, candidates will present a seminar of their research and have a series of one-on-one meetings with faculty and current lab members.
